A main road in Bradford was closed today while firefighters freed a man trapped under a lorry's front wheel.
Otley Road was blocked and vehicles were being turned round by police near the junction of Undercliffe Lane amid reports that a pedestrian had gone under a lorry.

A passer-by said: "It looks like something big because there are ambulances and police there.
"All cars are being turned around by police near the junction where you turn off for Carlton Bolling College."
Another eyewitness told the T&A there was "a man stuck under a wagon" and he appeared to be alive.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said they had been called to the scene at 2.06pm after reports a man in his 70s had been struck by a lorry.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transported to Leeds General Infirmary by land ambulance.
The man's injuries were said to be serious but not life threatening.
The air ambulance attended but was not required.

The road remained closed late into the afternoon while investigations continued.
