LOCAL performers, including fire artists, jugglers, singers and circus acts, will show off their skills at a “Cirque Du Bradford” event in Bradford city centre on Sunday.

The event has been organised by self employed fire artist Kelsie Dennison, from Wyke, also known as Miss Embers. She wanted an event to highlight the various independent performers in the district.

It will be a chance for families to see local circus themed acts like jugglers, Poi, singers and even a freestyle poet, as well as a chance for these self employed performers to show off their skills to potential customers.

There will be workshops for visitors to pick up some of the unique skills, children’s entertainment, face painting, stalls and food and drinks, as well as a healing corner. And the UK’s youngest lighting engineer will be holding a light show on the day.

It will be held at the Gumption Business Centre, in Glyde House, Glydegate from noon to 4pm.

Tickets cost £2 or £1 for under 10s.
