AWAY from the snow there were two stunning results for Ilkley Harriers at the weekend.
Tom Adams turned up the heat on his rivals as he raced to victory in inn the Klassmark Trail Skyrace, Montserrat 25k.
He completed the course – which had 1500m of climbing – in 2hours 07min 18sec and was an impressive four minutes ahead of the second-placed runner, Samuel Devila.
Lucy Williamson had an excellent run to finish first lady at the Anglesey half marathon.
After the recent bad weather, race day brought perfect conditions. Williamson was competing in the event – considered many as being the UK’s most beautiful half marathon – for the second time.
She finished in 1:23:56 beating her personal best by just under four minutes and was 23rd overall in a race which attracted 1,103 runners

Closer to Ilkley, Jack Wood took fourth place in the Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round.
He clocked 56:31 on a course which was shortened due to the weather but was still challenging. Wood’s team-mate Steve Turland was 48th in 69:05. Many local 5k Parkruns were cancelled due to snow and ice but the ones which went ahead were
