AN unlicensed driver has had his uninsured vehicle seized after parking outside the district's main police station.
The car was seized earlier today on Nelson Street, just yards from Trafalgar House Police Station.
The force's Roads Policing Team said: "When parking opposite the police station make sure you have a driving licence and insurance."
It was not the only vehicle seized on the doorstep of the station today. Earlier in the day a van was seized, and its driver reported for insuring a vehicle to a false address and giving a false date of birth.
The vehicle had stopped in front of the police station to ask for directions.
