SHIPLEY Feminist Zealots are marking the first anniversary of their Shipley Sister march by launching a new ‘zine’ - Cake for Everyone.
The publication (pictured with co editors Lorna Faye Dunsire, left, and Sophie Powell) will feature stories, artwork, recipes, photography and poems that celebrate sisterhood.
Shipley poet Ms Dunsire said: “The Sister March saw so many people from our local community (and beyond) respond in a creative and decisive way to stand up for equality and compassion; we hope our zine reflects that and is a fitting celebration of its first anniversary."
A launch event from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, January 21 takes place at the Kirkgate Centre in Shipley.
The occasion will include crafts, cake, refreshments and copies of the zine available for pay-as-you-feel donation.
