AN planning application to replace a bungalow in Idle with five houses has been withdrawn.
The proposals, for a property at the corner of where Green Lane and Westfield Grove meet Highfield Road, would have seen five four-bedroom, three-and-a-half storey homes built on the site.
Highways objected to the plans, saying the development would increase the chance of collisions at the junction.
They said there would be insufficient space for residents to park or manoeuvre their cars.
