A WEST Yorkshire Police officer has pleaded guilty to using the force's computers to access unauthorised personal information and sending "threatening" emails to her victim.
Kirsty Anderson from Otley appeared at Bradford Crown Court today, Friday, where she admitted sending the messages between February 5 and February 8 last year.
She also pleaded guilty to using police computers to access data which she was not authorised to view between August 12 2016 and February 11 2017.
The court heard that Anderson's resignation was accepted by West Yorkshire Police on Thursday and her defence barrister said she has a "raft of mental health problems".
The 39-year-old will be sentenced on January 26 and has been released on bail under the condition that she does not contact the victim or his partner.
