A MAN has been warned he faces jail after failing to comply with the terms of the sexual offenders register.
Michael McAuliffe, of Clarendon Street, Haworth, admitted charges of not registering a new bank account or his alias name of Ashley Thomas within a time limit.
He had already pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual offences prevention order and the possession of indecent photographs of children at an earlier hearing.
McAuliffe pleaded not guilty to assaulting PC Sarah Bampton, and the CPS now has until January 19 to decide whether to take that matter to trial on May 24.
Judge Jonathan Rose adjourned the case for at least six weeks to allow for the preparation of pre-sentence and psychiatric reports, with the court told the defendant suffered from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
McAuliffe, 54, was remanded in custody.
