The unit the mini cinema will be opening up in
ALTERED plans for a city centre cinema complex, that include a 20 seat private screen, have been approved by Bradford Council.
The Light will be opening a new six-screen, 780-seat cinema as part of an extension to The Broadway shopping centre in Spring.
The group recently submitted planning permission to amend their plans, replacing a proposed cafe unit on Bank Street with a a 20 person cinema screen, available for private hire, with a separate entrance to the rest of the cinema complex.
Planning officers approved the changes to the scheme this week.
The £4.1 million cinema project will also includes restaurant and cafes, and adds 40,000 sq ft to the Broadway shopping centre development.
