The earlier accident is causing delays on the eastbound M62
MOTORISTS on the M62 near Bradford are facing delays this morning after traffic was held due to an accident.
The incident affected those travelling eastbound, with traffic temporarily held and one lane closed between junction 26, Chain Bar, and junction 27, Gildersome.
At around 7.45am, a spokesman for Highways England said: "Traffic stopped #M62 eastbound between J26 and J27 while our traffic officer try to move vehicles involved in a collision to the hard shoulder.
"Will advise as soon as traffic released. Pls plan ahead and expect delays."
The vehicles involved were moved to the hard shoulder and traffic released at around 8am.
