A DRIVER wrote off the car he was in and caused damage to two others trying to flee from police in Bradford last night.
The red Vauxhall Corsa was left badly damaged in the crash, which happened 30 seconds after the driver tried to flee from police in Leeds Road, Thornbury, shortly after 7pm.
As well as writing off the Vauxhall, the driver also caused damage to two other vehicles, a black Volkswagen Golf and a dark grey BMW, which were being driven by members of the public.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said two people were arrested at the scene.
He said: "Officers located this vehicle that they wanted to stop at 7.11pm, a red Corsa.
"They pursued the car for about 30 seconds before it crashed in Leeds Road, and two people were arrested at the scene.

"The suspect car collided with two other cars and crash caused damage to both, and one of the drivers also received minor injuries.
"This was a very short pursuit by officers."
