Firefighters stayed at the scene for around an hour
Fire crews were called to Baildon this afternoon following reports of smoke seeping from a manhole cover.
Firefighters from Shipley got to the scene, at Denby Drive, Baildon, at 4pm.
The electrics had short circuited and fire crews waited for the arrival of Northern Powergrid workers, who turned the electricity off.
Crews stayed at the scene for around an hour.
