A REFURBISHED and rebranded bar opens its doors to the public today.
The former Symposium ale and wine bar on Albion Road, Idle, has been transformed into the Idle Beerhouse, a bar specialising in craft ale and fresh food.
After several weeks of work to improve the building's interior, and creating extra outdoor seating space in a smoking area to the rear of the bar, the pub opened for invited guests last night, and will be open from this morning.
The Beerhouse group, which runs pubs and bars in Stalybridge, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Wakefield, acquired the bar from Market Town Taverns earlier this year, and it is the group’s first venture in Bradford.
As well as a fully refurbished bar, selling real ales and craft beers as well as Gin and Tequila, the venue will have an extensive food menu, sourced from local producers.
