ORGANISERS were forced to hold a 'mini-market' in Bradford city centre after stallholders pulled out due to illness.
Made Bradford only had four stalls in Darley Street today after its other four stallholders were forced to cancel their pitch.
The remaining stalls sold goods, ranging from Scotch eggs and handbags, at the event.
But the market will return on Saturday, August 12, as part of the Bradford Classic Car Show, held in Centenary Square.
Shy Burhan, one of the Made Bradford organisers, said: "This was our fourth market in Darley Street.
"It was quiet today and four of the other stallholders who signed up could not come due to illness. We had to hold a mini-market instead."
Made Bradford opened for the first time in Darley Street in March to give a boost to the area after a period of decline in footfall.
The market, supported by Bradford Council, features stalls for original artists, crafters and creative food producers.
Further events will be held in the city later this year.
