TWO drivers escaped injury after a collision on a roundabout in Cottingley near Bingley.
Dashcam footage emerged yesterday of the incident, which took place just before 11am on Wednesday and involved a blue Volkswagen Golf and a white Ford van (pictured).
The vehicles were caught on video both heading towards the roundabout at the bottom of Manor Road, at its junction with Cottingley New Road.
The van is seen in the right-hand lane as it stops on the approach to the roundabout, with the Golf to its left.
Instead of turning right, the van moves to turn left and collides with the Golf, pinning it against some railings.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed officers had attended the scene, but said the collision had been noted as “damage-only”, with both parties happy to exchange insurance details.
