A TEENAGER has been sent to youth custody for nine months for two assaults in Bradford.
Robert Sunter, 18, thumped one man on the nose in the Kirkgate Centre, in the city centre, on March 9.
In the other offence, in Market Street, near to the Ginger Goose, in the middle of the day on April 14, he knocked another man to the ground and kicked him in the head and body while he was down.
Sunter, of Howarth Avenue, Swain House, Bradford, pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm.
Prosecutor Clare Walsh said Sunter knew both his victims.
Sentencing Sunter, Judge Jonathan Rose told him the second assault had been a savage attack.
He added that the victim was an innocent man. He said a single kick to the head could result in serious injury or death.
He said young men who kicked people in the head could not be allowed to retain their liberty.
