TWO men have been arrested after they were allegedly threatening people with a knife at a Bradford supermarket last night.
Police were called to the Asda supermarket in Rooley Lane, Bierley, at about 8.20pm following a report two men had allegedly threatened people in the store with a knife.
A witness claims he helped stop one of the men, suspected of carrying a knife, by knocking him to the ground with a shopping trolley. The suspect was then held by security guards.
The 66-year-old, from Bierley, said: "I just acted instinctively."
The witness said police arrived soon after.
Officers arrested two men from Bradford, aged 20 and 17, on suspicion of affray.

The pair remain in custody today for questioning, and inquiries are ongoing into the incident.
