YOUNG people from Bradford Youth Service will be striding out for a 192-mile coast-to-coast walk in aid of Carers’ Resource.
Organised as part of Carers Week, running until June 18, the event is on Saturday, June 17, at Roberts Park, Saltaire, from 1pm.
Young people will walk the route dressed as super heroes, signifying the important role carers play in society.
Carers’ Resource, the district's integrated carers service, offers a wide range of services for those who looking after someone with an illness, disability, is frail or has an addiction.
Chief executive Chris Whiley said: “We are very grateful to the young people and Bradford Youth Service for coming up with this idea to not only raise funds but also to raise awareness about the vital contribution unpaid carers make to our district and wider society."
