A 15-YEAR-OLD girl, who claims she was sexually assaulted by two men in the back of a car after she was forced to drink vodka, denied trying to kiss them.

A jury at Bradford Crown Court has heard that the schoolgirl alleged she was indecently assaulted by 26-year-olds Sajaad Khan and Jubayel Ali.

The prosecution has told the court that the two men found the girl, a stranger to them, late at night while they were driving in the Keighley area. She had been taken to the area by taxi to meet her boyfriend but he had not turned up.

The men let her use a phone to contact him and message him on Facebook.

But the girl said she was locked in the car and driven to a petrol station in Keighley, where the men bought soft drinks and a bottle of vodka. She claimed Khan drove erratically before stopping the car and one of the men tipped vodka in her face and down her throat.

She alleged Khan felt her breasts and bit her. She claimed both men then got into the back of the car with her and sexually assaulted her, before Khan made her touch him indecently.

She raised the alarm after being dropped off close to where the men picked her up.

Questioned by Khan's barrister, Kitty Colley, the girl agreed the men did not use threatening or intimidating behaviour. She said she had never drunk vodka before and did not drink it willingly.

When Miss Colley suggested the girl was happy to be driven around, looking for her boyfriend and chilling and chatting, she replied: "I was happy to be in the car."

The girl broke down in tears as Miss Colley suggested she had flirted with Khan and tried to kiss him. The girl said: "That's so not true."

Miss Colley said: "I suggest you were forward and disinhibited and you tried to kiss Khan and Ali in the back of that car."

The girl answered: "I disagree."

She denied panicking because she feared what her boyfriend would say on finding out where she had been. And she said she would never accuse someone of sexual assault to get herself out of trouble. She said it was untrue that no sexual assault had taken place.

The court heard the girl had told police last year she had been raped by an older boy while on a foreign holiday when she was 13.

Miss Colley asked her: "There had been no rape, had there?"

The girl responded: "No, I completely disagree."

Miss Colley continued: "The allegation you made was false?"

The girl replied: "I completely disagree."

Questioned by Ali's barrister, Gillian Batts, the teenager denied trying to kiss him or touch him indecently.

Khan, of Nashville Terrace, Fell Lane, Keighley, pleads not guilty to three charges of sexual assault. Ali, of Catherine Street, Keighley, pleads not guilty to one charge of sexual assault. Both deny one charge of false imprisonment

The trial continues.
