FOUR City of Bradford club records were broken in the North East Region Youth and Senior Championships at Sunderland Aquatic Centre.

Guiseley's Sam Wardle broke two, with Ilkley's George Wilde and Keighley's James Lund breaking one each.

Wilde was fifth in the senior 100 metres backstroke in a club record 1min 01.14sec, while Wardle was also fifth in a club best time of 59.51sec in the senior 100m butterfly.

Wardle also set a new City of Bradford mark of 27.57sec in the senior 50m butterfly, where he finished just outside the top ten.

Lund's record was set in the 1500m freestyle in 17min 32.29sec.

Wilde was also seventh in the 200m backstroke, while Wardle was sixth in the 200m butterfly.

Lund was sixth in the 200m breaststroke and eighth in the 400m individual medley.

Ilkley's Sam Naylor was City's other finalist with seventh in the 200m butterfly and ninth in the 200m medley and 200m backstroke.
