Onlookers watched as police arrested a man on a busy city centre street today.
The man, thought to be in his late teens or 20s, was detained in Bank Street, Bradford, at about 2.30pm.
The arresting officers had got out of a police patrol car which was being driven up Bank Street from the direction of Hustlergate as the suspect was walking down it.
A police van was quickly on the scene in case back-up was needed.
The man was placed in the back of the first police car and driven away.
Police are yet to comment on the incident.
