UKIP’S candidate for Bradford South has called for a review of policing plans in the city.
Stephen Place said policing, especially the tackling of car crime and anti-social behaviour, needed “urgent attention”. Mr Place is a former police constable, who joined the police in 1978. He served at Toller Lane and The Tyrls in the city centre before joining the mounted branch where he was based in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and Pontefract.
