A FEMALE security consultant from Bingley who has protected royalty, senior politicians and celebrities is starting a boot camp for women in the district.
Elizabeth Kay's work has taken her into war zones, palaces and embassies all over the world.
Now, the 46-year-old is back in Bingley for her women-only Baggy T-Shirt Bootcamps. There is an enrolment and information event tonight at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club, Wagon Lane, Bingley, from 6.30pm.
"I am a local woman who worked and succeeded in a male environment," said Elizabeth. "I am returning home to bring something back to the community and empower women."
She added: "The concept behind the Bootcamp is simple: to energise, empower and bring together a community of ladies who find the gym an intimidating and ruthless environment; a war zone!
"It's for ladies who haven’t exercised for a while and ladies who want to get fit but just don’t know where to start!
"By committing to the Baggy T-Shirt Bootcamp five-week outdoor training program, those who attend will grow in personal image confidence, will become fitter, and most importantly will have fun training together as the Baggy T Squad.
"The program supports any age and any level of fitness. All that is asked of the recruit is that they give it their best shot and bring a sense of humour."
