A HANDFUL of Bradford businesses cycled many miles on static bikes in aid of charity today.

Employees from La Redoute, Provident, Bradford Bulls, Pavilion Café and Credit Resource Solutions pedalled hard in aid of the Bradford Bulls Foundation, which provides a safe venue for cyclists to train, and Choices 4 All, based at the University of Bradford, which enables disabled people to access sports and activities.

The corporate challenge was organised in partnership with the Bradford to Roubaix charity ride, which 19 cyclists completed earlier this week.

Those riders will be officially welcomed home at the Bulls’ game against Halifax at Odsal tomorrow night.

A spokesman said: “The corporate challenge winners will be presented with their trophies at the match.”

Zoe Pitman, of La Redoute, said: “La Redoute are delighted to be associated with this initiative, it is a fantastic way for the Bradford community to support the Bradford-Roubaix riders.”
