A MOTORBIKE was seized by police after its rider ignored a keep left bollard and tried to overtake vehicles at a busy junction.
Police officers saw a black motorbike (pictured) at the Killinghall Road/Barkerend Road junction, Bradford Moor, when its rider ignored a keep left bollard and try to overtake vehicles at the junction.
A turning car was forced to turn right and the officers were able to follow it. But the rider made off at speed onto a side street and weaved through traffic in an attempt to escape.
Due to the amount of motorists and pedestrians in the area, it was unsafe to follow the bike and officers decided not to pursue it.
The motorbike was later spotted abandoned at the same junction. Enquiries are ongoing to confirm the identity of the bike. The incident took place on Saturday, April 8.
