ALL Bradford’s councillors and MPs have been invited to take part in a mass cycle ride later this month.
The Bradford Cycling Campaign, Bradford Cycle Club and Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure (BDSL) are co-hosting the cycle ride, which begins in City Park (pictured) at 11am on Saturday, April 22.
There will be a 10am start for BDSL, who will meet at the new cycling hub in Hall Ings.
Organisers hope to take riders north along Manningham Lane, through Lister Park, along Keighley Road, down Shipley Fields, over Canal Road and back into the centre via the Canal Road Greenway.
They may cycle on part of the Cycle Superhighway if they have time.
The event coincides with a national campaign run by Cycling UK to encourage decision-makers to create a better environment for cyclists.
