A MAN who threatened his friend at knifepoint after staying up all night drinking has been jailed for 21 months.
Jamie Lovric (pictured), 28, was outside his home in Western Fold, Bradford, at about 7am on November 26 last year when he attacked Richard Tasker, punching him to the head and throwing him to the floor.
Bradford Crown Court heard that during the confrontation, Lovric armed himself with an eight-inch bread knife and told Mr Tasker: “I will stab you.”
Lovric, who pleaded guilty to making threats with a bladed article and affray, was subject to a community order at the time of the offence for wounding a man in a pub fight.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, revoked the order, given in September last year, and passed consecutive jail terms for all offences, saying Lovric had a “history of violence and drinking”.
