A FIRE at a day nursery in Bradford is being treated as arson.
The blaze started in a ground floor play room at Little Horton Lane Nursery, Little Horton Lane, which was due to open next week, and the fire also spread to a dental surgery in the floor above, which left it smoke damaged too.
A crew from Bradford Fire Station attended the scene at 12.30am today.
No-one was injured or suffered any smoke inhalation in the incident.
Watch commander Andy Flynn, of Bradford Fire Station, said the cause of the fire is still under investigation but added it "appears to be deliberate".
He said: "The fire appears to be deliberate.
"There was quite serious damage to the room.
"The rest of the day nursery was smoke damaged."
