BOYS from University Academy Keighley found inspiration for their future careers at the Manchester City ground.
The sixth formers visited the UK University Search Fair at the soccer team’s Etihad Stadium.
The teenagers learned more about university life and the opportunities on offer from a vast array of exhibiting universities, colleges and higher education institutions.
UAK post-16 progress coach Andy Romaniuk the search fair provided the students with a valuable experience.
He said: “The lads practised writing their UCAS Personal Statements, attended a workshop about student finance and were introduced to the Oxbridge application process.
“They were excited to be visiting the Etihad Stadium to start with, and then having all these universities on hand, they were excited about their futures too.”
The UK University Search Fair gives students an opportunity to meet a UK wide selection of universities, higher education and apprenticeship providers, in order to gain vital advice for their UCAS applications and higher education decision-making.
