FIRST Bus has donated around £9,000 worth of advertising space to Prostate Cancer UK across its vehicles in Bradford and the rest of Yorkshire.
The eye-catching posters on the sides and interiors of many of its buses will be helping raise awareness of the condition, which is diagnosed in one in eight men across the UK at some stage in their lives – with one man every hour dying from it in this country.
Prostate Cancer UK was chosen as FirstGroup’s Charity partner after a vote of 25,000 employees from its bus, rail and tram operations country-wide.
The three-year partnership, which began in April 2015, aims to raise £1m in cash and in kind to support Prostate Cancer UK’s work to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.Go to prostatecanceruk.org for more.
