BRADFORD Millside Community Centre for use by vulnerable people in the district will be holding a grand opening event to launch its services.
The centre, run by Christian charity Reach Beyond, is based in Grattan Road and has created the brand new centre with a Big Lottery Fund grant of almost £750,000.
It will be used to provide a raft of services to benefit those who are battling homelessness, addiction, mental heath issues, as well as refugees to the area wanting to speak English and learn how to integrate in the community, plus many others.
The centre will have meeting and counselling rooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen for people to learn cooking skills.
It officially opens on Saturday, February 25, with a range of activities including games, pamper sessions, face painting, crafts, a photo booth and smoothie bike.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm and lunch will be provided for all.
