BY-ELECTIONS will be held at two councils following the resignations of former councillors.
Both Bingley Town Council (for its Lady Lane and Oakwood seat) and at Keighley Town Council (Bogthorn and Exley ward) will hold their by-elections on Thursday, February 23.
The candidates at Lady Lane and Oakwood, to replace former Town Council chairman Terry Brown who resigned due to ill health, are Maureen Carney, Andrew David Fenton (Con) and Abdul Wahid Malik (Lab).
Competing for the Bogthorn and Exley seat, to replace Fatima Bibi, are Mohammed Ansar Ali and Martin Walker (both Independent).
The polling station for Lady Lane and Oakwood is Mobile Polling Station, Lady Lane, Bingley, and for Bogthorn and Exley is Exley Head Methodist Church, Wheathead Lane, Keighley. Both open between 7am and 10pm.
