A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the future of Clayton Library will take place tomorrow.
The Council-run facility could be under threat if volunteers are not found to help staff the library for 30 and a half hours a week.
Members of Clayton Parish Council said they planned to use the meeting to call for volunteers to help safeguard the library’s future and to discuss increasing the number of community groups using the site.
Parish council leader Christopher Kaushal-Bolland said: “We need to re-consider how to use the facility.”
The changes to the way the library is staffed and managed will come into effect from April.
Anyone interested in volunteering should email clerk@clayton-pc.gov.uk.
The meeting is at Clayton Village Hall from 6.30pm to 8pm.
