TWO fire crews were called to a reported house fire in Liversedge this morning, but when they arrived they found it had only been a minor blaze involving a toaster.
Engines from Cleckheaton and Dewsbury were called to a property on Upper Barker Street at 10.20am after reports of a house fire with people inside the property.
However when they arrived they found that the house's occupants were outside, waiting for them, and the fire was already out.
The cause of the fire turned out to be a toaster that had ignited, clogging the kitchen with smoke.
Fire crews used a fan to disperse the smoke.
