FUNDRAISERS had a festive time at a fun day organised at Tong Medical Practice in Procter Street, Bradford.

Special guests included Santa Claus who put in an appearance and children from nearby St Columba’s RC school singing carols.

The pupils entertained surgery staff, patients and others who turned out to support the event in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Charity and its hospice in Maudsley Street, Bradford.

There were lots of stalls from cakes to jewellery and tombola as well as information stands from organisations including Carers’ Resource, Equality Together and Lifeline.

Lillie’s Grace, a Bradford charity which provides support to vulnerable families who need help after new babies arrive early, also had a stand.

Patient liaison officer Judith Patten said: “We made £431 for Marie Curie and all the other groups who came along had a good day as well.”

A pharmacist, health champions and patient forum members were also present to give advice.
