A PERSON has died after being hit by a train in Saltaire.
There are no trains running between Shipley and Skipton due to the incident, which is believed to have happened at some point between 8pm and 8.30pm today.
A spokesman for Northern Rail said: "It has been confirmed as a fatality."
Northern Rail said online: "There is no estimate on when the line will reopen but when it does disruption is likely to continue until the end of service."
Trains are running between Bradford Forster Square and Shipley.
It is the second death on the district's railway today. A man died after being hit by a train in Horsforth at about 1.50pm.
