Shipley Conservative MP Philip Davies has joined forces with Oscar-winning animated stars Wallace and Gromit to raise money for charity and is urging for people from Bradford to join in.

Mr Davies posed with the life-sized cheese-loving pair, to encourage as many people as possible to get involved with this year's Wrong Trousers Day, on Friday, June 29.

The campaign, organised by Wallace & Gromit's Children's Foundation, is in aid of children's hospitals and hospices.

This years Wrong Trousers Day has a sports theme and participants pay £1 for the "right to look wrong".

Mr Davies is asking people to register on the Wrong Trousers Day website.

"This is great opportunity to wear some really wrong trousers' while at the same time raising money for a superb charity," he said.
