A 20-year-old man will stand trial next month accused of possessing a prohibited firearm.
Shahid Farooq, of Hedge Way, Allerton, Bradford, pleaded not guilty at Bradford Crown Court today to possessing a 9mm self-loading pistol on March 23.
Farooq also denied further charges of possessing a shotgun without a firearms certificate and possessing six 9mm bulleted cartridges and a shotgun cartridge without a firearms certificate.
All the offences relate to the same day and it is understood the items were found in a garage.
Judge Roger Scott remanded Farooq in custody to await his trial which is due to begin on July 30.
