PART of Darley Street in Bradford city centre remains strewn with rubble this evening after a section of roof from a three-storey building fell to the floor.
Rubble and wood fell from the building, formerly occupied by the Discount Appliance Store and Textiles Direct, at about 6.20pm yesterday.
Barriers are blocking part of the street, but pedestrians are able to walk past the scene on the Kirkgate Centre side.
Both properties are currently displaying To Let signs and thought to be empty.
Remnants of a police cordon can still be seen at the top end of the street.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the incident was reported at 6.20pm last night, and that no-one was injured.
He said the matter had been referred to Bradford Council, whose officers are due to attend and assess the scene at some point this morning.
