TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire at a house in Bradford today.
Five adults and two children fled a terraced property in Hartman Place, Heaton, after a fridge freezer set alight at about 1.20am. They were alerted to the fire, which was in the basement of the four-storey house, by a smoke alarm.
A spokesman for Fairweather Green fire station said a 23-year-old man from the house and a 70-year-old woman who lived next door suffered smoke inhalation.
Damage from the fire was confined to the kitchen, added the spokesman.
