A COUNCILLOR has urged motorists in Bradford to get dashboard cameras to protect themselves against “irresponsible” and potentially “deadly” drivers.
Councillor David Ward (Lib Dem, Bolton and Undercliffe) was speaking after footage emerged of a high-powered Lamborghini Huracan that was almost in a collision while its driver was overtaking at speed on the 30mph Northcote Road, Undercliffe.
Cllr Ward said: “It is completely irresponsible driving. They are using these things like toys. These are deadly weapons in the wrong hands.”
On people getting dash-cams, he said: “It is about protecting yourself and catching these people.”
