YORKSHIRE Air Ambulance was scrambled after a woman was injured at the Brontë Waterfalls near Haworth.
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) also sent out 23 members to the scene having received a request for urgent assistance, after the 24-year-old fell and sustained a suspected broken ankle.
The woman said she would prefer not to be taken to hospital by air, so the CVSRT team carried her out of the valley by stretcher to the waiting land ambulance.
The team was called at 5pm yesterday and spent two hours and 15 minutes at the scene.
