THE Aire Valley Rail Users Group - which campaigns for improvements in rail services, will hold its annual meeting on Saturday.
It will take place at Saltaire Methodist Church at 2pm and anyone with an interest in local rail services is welcome to attend.
After the formal business, Pete Myers, of Arriva, (pictured) will talk about the new Northern franchise. He will tell members about the investment plans which are essential to support the growth of the Airedale economy, including new, high capacity trains, extended platforms and additional manned stations.
"We look forward to a lively debate about the shape of future rail services," said rail group chairman Tim Calow.
