WORKMATES Natalie Belcher and Tina Marsh had their lovely long locks shaved off to promote a good cause.
The brave Bradford pair have raised around £1,700 from sponsor money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support which is where they work as fund-raisers based in Shipley.
They are now urging others to consider doing the same in aid of the charity's Brave the Shave event in August.
Tina, 42, from Shipley, said going bald was a "bit of a shock to the system".
"I keep seeing someone in the mirror but I don't recognise myself. The hair will grow back and will be in beautiful condition when it does.
She added: "I sent my boyfriend a photo and he said he liked it. I think he was too scared to say anything else."
Natalie, 23, from Clayton Heights, said her head felt a "bit cold" and she has taken to wearing a hat to keep her ears warm.
The pair agreed to the stunt earlier this month when they started working for the charity.
