THE vinyl records, ale and ham at a Bradford bar have been joined by the paintings of an artist from Cleckheaton.
Peter Robson is displaying seven pieces of work upstairs at The Record Cafe, on North Parade, for the next five weeks.
The paintings - which include a depiction of the trenches in World War One and a critique of Britain's foreign policy in the Middle East - are on display alongside the venue's records-for-sale.
On his latest venue - his work has previously been at Bradford Brewery - Mr Robson said: "It fits with my art. It is very approachable and accessible. I like the idea of people discovering the art."
He added: "The main thing is I want my art free and accessible to anyone. It is great when people can access original artwork for free."
Keith Wildman, owner of The Record Cafe, which specialises in records, ale and ham, said: "It is a way of showcasing people's work. And music and art go together.
"It is getting the artist's work over to people who are interested in it and it looks good on my wall - it is mutually beneficial. And I love Peter's work."
He added: "It is a really nice space up there. I want it to feel like a stately home or Agatha Christie manor house-type thing."
