A WOMAN escaped with slight injuries after a two-car crash in Brighouse which left one vehicle on its side.
The accident, involving two Ford Fiestas, occurred shortly before 8pm on Saturday, as one of the cars turned right at the junction of Wakefield Road and Coal Pit Lane, near to the Holiday Inn.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said nobody had been trapped by the accident. One woman had suffered slight injuries but is not thought to have needed hospital treatment.
Raymond Taylor, of the Gentleman Photographer company, was staying at the Holiday Inn and took pictures of the incident.
He said: "I saw the commotion outside. It appears at least two vehicles were involved in an RTA at the junction of Coal Pit Lane and Wakefield Road. Police and Ambulance were on the scene."
