TWO men, aged 64 and 56, have died in a three car crash on one of Bradford's busiest roads.
Police were called to the crash on Shipley Airedale Road, near the junction with Barkerend Road, at 10.14am yesterday.
Two of the cars involved in the crash
It involved a grey BMW 3 Series, a white Range Rover Sport and a blue Proton private hire vehicle.
Two men in the Proton, the driver and a passenger, both from Bradford, were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old man, the drivers of the other two cars, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Today, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said both men had been released on bail until February as the investigation continues into the cause of the crash.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued.
Police closed off the road immediately after the crash and began re-directing traffic.

As well as police, two fire crews from Bradford Fire Station were dispatched to the scene, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service sent three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, clinical supervisor, and a hazardous area response team.
Another person was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
The closures caused major delays on other city centre roads, with large queues on Barkerend Road and either side of the road closure.
Police investigators examine the crash scene
Police are now appealing for information about the crash, which took place in the North bound side of the road.
Debris from the blue private hire vehicle, including its bumper, could be seen at the junction of Shipley Airedale Road and North Street, with the car itself having ended up around 100 yards further down, resting on a grass embankment next to the road.
The road re-opened late afternoon.
Witnesses have been urged to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team by calling 101.
