Yeadon Air Cadets won a handful of medals when they visited Sheffield to compete in the South and West Yorkshire Wing athletics competition. Cadet Calum Langan won gold in the junior boys' high jump and corporal Matthew Wray won bronze in the 1500 metre event. The senior girls team was awarded second place and brought home six individual medals, three bronze, two silver and one gold medal. Yeadon Air Cadets is open to girls and boys aged 13 years and over and meet on Wednesdays and Fridays between from 7pm.
