A 25-YEAR-OLD Cleckheaton man has been arrested in connection with a gunpoint raid at an elderly couple's home.
The man was held this morning on suspicion of robbery and is in custody.
The incident occurred around 8.50pm on Monday when four masked male suspects forced entry to a property, in South Street, Savile Town, Dewsbury, and threatened the occupants, an 81-year-old man and 81-year-old woman with what are believed to be guns. The suspects made off with an amount of cash.
The suspects were all wearing dark clothing and masks, of stocky build and spoke English.
Detectives have said the robbery was not racially motivated.
