HOYLE Court Primary School in Baildon has marked the opening of its new look library with the visit of an acclaimed young writer who is both deaf and blind.
Authoress and campaigner Molly Watt has Usher syndrome and is behind a Trust which supports other living with the condition.
She has also written and illustrated a children's book about being different, called Frog, Froggy and Froggit, copies of which were donated to the library, which has been redecorated with an enchanted forest theme.
"Our new library is magical and the opening was fantastic" said head teacher Lynda Florence.
"Molly was a huge success and I know the children have learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed her visit."
